Week 20 Two Fifths Along

How is everyone doing? So far so good?
Spent last week with Louisa Smith in her Double Vision class put on by Empty Spools at Asilomar Conference Grounds. Asilomar is a State Park. It is a rustic very peaceful place across the street from the ocean. The sand is so fine it is soft. If you are so inclined check out Empty Spools Seminars.

Week 19 Blocks 55 to 57

Pacific Grove California, a quaint little seaside town that has a great quilt shop, Back Porch Quilts, that is about 3 blocks from the ocean. You walk past these delightful colourful little houses on your way to the ocean.

It's hard to believe that it's only been just over 100 years that hygiene, pasteurization, vaccinations and overall babies and young children's health came to the forefront for children's survival. The struggle to get out of poverty is still just as hard yesterday as it is today. It is true that the more things change the more they stay the same.

Blocks 52 to 54 - Dreaming Building Greatness

This week it's about dreaming, building and being the greatest you can be. All three ladies again became the best they could be through dreams, determination and hard work. Elizabeth - visionary a business woman beyond business men, Esther - determination beyond anything to build and help the disadvantage, Hilda - hard work in play - who would have known that there was a female Gretzky long before 99 himself.

And now the answer:
"You’re in a build headed to the fourth floor. When you reach the second floor, you’ve gone one floor and have two more floors left, so you’re 1/3 of the way. But at the same time, you’re on the 2nd floor and have two more floors to get to the 4th floor, thus you’re halfway there.
This doesn’t work in Europe, because they typically refer to the “first floor” as the ground floor, and the first floor is one story up.
Thanks to Danny Llinas for submitting this."
