Novelty Space

We are starting the fabric clearance on facebook with novelty stripes. We used them for borders, accents, bindings. All will be posted in the photo section under albums. Just message us if you want the fabric.

Who's tired of winter? Me. I've noticed that a lot of the quilts posted on facebook, pinterest and instagram are very colourful. They make me think of warm weather and 16 hour days.

Northern Lights Space

Two, two more weeks until launch. Know what else you can use a longarm quilting machine for? Yep, you guessed right. A block piece holder. The rollers hold 12 blocks. You are looking at the background and green Fossil Fern fabric pieces for the 12 blocks.

 I have a love hate relationship with Benartex's Fossil Fern. But, am really liking the Northern Lights look of it with the background.

Snow Snow and Space

Or should I say Shovel, Shovel and more Shovel. I've reached a point where it's time to be a snowbird and get the flock south. The snow from the driveway is now 4 ft high and 6 ft wide. On the other hand, it's the best time to sit at the sewing machine and give'r.

Been working on the Space quilt program. Launch is March 6, 2018. You can sign up for your seat to outer space here. We've also added a BOM, Block of the Month, where you pay the complete program, 2 blocks per month and the finishing instructions for 6 months. Backing is additional lump sum payment. Below is the background with green options and some of the yellows.

Stolen Space

I know, I know we keep saying this but truly, we are closer to having the Space program ready to go. We even came up with a new colouring for the quilt. It looks more like the Aurora Borealis, northern lights, in the night sky background fabric. Go to the website for details. New facebook group Space Quilt Program is set up for those participating in the Space Program. Launch is scheduled for March 6.

Aaa! Two Monday's ago I decided to start using our instagram account that was opened a year ago. Lo and behold the picture of 'you' was not me. It was a Russian man and there was a Russian email address and Russian words in the setup boxes. Panic. Thru the help of a young person and myself messing around in instagram for an hour we were able to delete the account. No one was injured in the delete except the account. Whew!

The moral of this story is, if you do not use it, social media, then you might lose it. Don't set up your social media until you need it. I thought I was getting ahead of the game by grabbing the account name before anyone else did. NOT, it came around and bit me.
